Matt Dieterich - Brand Ambassador
Matt Dieterich works at PlaneWave Instruments as their Technical Services Manager where he installs telescopes for astronomers and astrophotographers all around the world. Using telescopes to capture images of the night sky was his entry into astrophotography back in 2007. While working at Mount Rainier National Park in 2015, his astrophoto was selected by the US Postal Service to become a Forever Stamp celebrating the National Park Service Centennial. To cap off his experience at Mount Rainier, Matt received a NASA Astronomy Picture of the Day for his photo of the Perseid Meteor Shower over Mount Rainier. Ever since then, Matt has been fascinated with educating others about the importance of dark night skies. Matt continues sharing his passion for astrophotography and teaching by sharing the experience during workshops and on his YouTube channel.
