Moab, Utah - Arches and Canyonlands National Parks PhotoWorkshop May 31st - June 5th, 2024

Come join us at one of the most beautiful scenic locations in the world - Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. Our first meeting will be on May 31st at approximately 3:00 PM. We will discuss detailed plans, equipment, locations, introductions, and specific questions. The workshop will close in the early morning hours of June 6th.

(Arches National Park, Utah)

Our experienced staff will guide you to the parks best locations for dark skies and incredible scenery, and will provide instruction in Nightscapes, Time-Lapse sequencing, and Astrophotography. Limited to 12 participants. (Coupon codes and other discounts cannot be used for this event unless previously approved.)

(Canyonlands National Park, Utah)

It is our philosophy to spend as much time as possible shooting in the field while at our workshops. However, we will have opportunities to meet together in a class room setting and provide instruction on post processing and photography. We will also address any specific questions at these meetings as well.

We are planning to visit most of the following locations during this workshop (Weather depending):

Canyonlands overlooks (Green River Overlook, and Grand Overlook). Balanced Rock, Court Yard area, Park Avenue, Devils Garden, Skyline Arch, Sand Dune Arch, Broken Arch, and many other options.

(Dead Horse Point State Park, Utah)

The Moab area is well known for great, mostly sunny weather conditions during the month of June. The workshop schedule will be adjusted according to current weather conditions. We expect to be on location shooting images well before sunset every afternoon.

(Arches National Park, Utah)

The weather in the Moab area is usually very warm in June. The evenings and early mornings can be cool. A warm jacket, closed toe shoes and long pants are usually adequate. The daytime average temperatures can reach the upper 90s and low 100s but are usually in the low 90s on average. Please come prepared for cooler nighttime temperatures (lower 50s). We do plan to take a few short walks (1/2 mile or less) to some unforgettable locations.
